Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment as a senior lecturer at the Rivers State University.
Academic Requirement/ Qualifications
Candidate must be holder of Ph.D in the relevant field with not less than 5 years cognate teaching and research experience in the University system.
He/she must have outstanding teaching ability and effectiveness as a University lecturer.
The candidate must have a reasonable number of scholarly publications in reputable journals.
He/ She must be able to initiate
and carry out independent research work and also supervise students’
research project up to the doctoral level.
The candidate for this position in the
Faculty of Engineering must be a registered member of COREN.
In the Basic Medical Sciences, candidate must have a Ph.D or its equivalent
such as MD degree of Nigerian or British universities.
In the Clinical
Sciences, candidates must have a Fellowship of the West African College of
Surgeons/Physicians (FWACS/FWACP) or National Postgraduate Medical
College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or their equivalents.
