Guinness Nigeria, a subsidiary of Diageo Plc of the United Kingdom, was incorporated in 1962 with the building of a brewery in Ikeja, the heart of Lagos. The brewery was the first Guinness operation outside Ireland and Great Britain.
About Guinness Nigeria Undergraduate Scholarship
This scholarship supports Guinness Nigeria’s commitment to implementing transformative schemes that foster youth development. The scholarship will provide full tuition for students who are currently studying in Public Nigerian Universities.
Requirements:
Application is open to students studying any of the following courses:
- STEM Courses
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Mathematics
- Candidates must be 2nd year students in Public Nigerla Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.
- STEM Students in Public Universities, and Colleges of Education must have 9 minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.0/4 or 3.5/5 (second class upper credit)
- STEM Students in Public Polytechnics must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA] of 3.0 |upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND] Program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Program.
Selection Criteria:
- Candidates may be required to write an aptitude test.
- Shortlisted candidates may be required to provide a letter of introduction from the Chairman of their Community Development Associations where applicable.
