The Consensus Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress APC in Rivers State, Pastor Tonye Cole, has debunked allegation that his private company, took the sum of fifty million dollars from the coffers of the Rivers State government during the administration of former Governor Chibuike Amaechi.
Speaking with newsmen in a live program monitored, Pastor Cole explained that what transpired between his company and the State Government was a contract, noting that the contract documents are in the public domain
The APC consensus governorship aspirant who denied that his emergence was an imposition by the Minister of Transportation, Mr. Chibuike Amaechi, explained that it was a collective decision by leaders of the party.

Pastor Cole further explained that his emergence cannot stop other governorship aspirants from pursuing their political aspiration.
Governor Nyesom Wike had during a special thanksgiving service in Port Harcourt, urged Pastor Cole to explain what happened to the amount his company got from the State Government.
