We are seeking qualified candidate to join our team as a Field Support Engineer.
Job Summary
ISN is seeking a skilled and proactive Field Support Engineer (Rigger) to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, rigging at height, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and customer sites. The role involves configuring network hardware, resolving connectivity issues in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and conducting RF site surveys.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure ISP network equipment, including routers, switches, fibre modems, and wireless/radio devices (e.g., Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Cambium).
- Conduct safety checks and risk assessments.
- Work at heights (tower and mast climbing) while adhering to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Diagnose and repair network outages, signal degradation, and hardware failures on-site.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in ICT/ISP environments.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA preferred); tower-climbing certification is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work at heights, travel frequently, and work flexible hours.
- Availability to work weekends when required.
