First Independent Power Limited is a company in the business of power generation in Nigeria located in Rivers State. We own and operate 4 gas turbine power plants within Rivers State located in Trans-Amadi Port-Harcourt, Afam, Etc.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following Vacant Positions Below;
1. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering with proof of NYSC
- Membership of COREN/NSE is compulsory
- Minimum of 3 years experience in power industry or oil & gas process/production facility
- Must be able to interpret schematic drawings, write reports & troubleshoot
- possess knowledge of safety environment. statutory norms & Nigerian Power Industry value chain.
2. Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Requirements
- Minimum of National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Trade Tests.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
- Good troubleshooting skills & possess knowledge of safety environment
3. Operator
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a similar role
- Proof of NYSC certification or letter of exemption
- Troubleshooting skills
- possess knowledge of safety environment, statutory norms & Nigerian Power Industry value chain.
