A Nigerian soldier has been confirmed dead in Obelle Community, Emohua Local Government Area, Rivers State.
The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday, 5th March 2022.
Area talk Report gathered that the deceased Army officer who is also an indigine of Obelle community returned for holiday and was killed Infront of his house by one of the local vigilante mounting (Bunkering) KPORFIRE check point in the area.

Angry youths in their numbers, stormed the Security office of the local Vigilante group Service in the area leaving it demolished as Some residents of the community has fled for fear of military attack
As at of filing this report, No official report has been made from the Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations at the Six Division, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Ekeocha.
