Immediate past Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has said he is not aware of any move to reconcile him and his former Political ally, Sen. Magnus Abe.

The former minister answered in the affirmative when asked of the move to reconcile him and Magnus Abe by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Apc presidential Candidate following the news making round.

On the issue of aggrieved members of Apc in the State.

He said, I am here to reconcile everyone, specially those who contested the governorship primary of the party, adding that there are bound to be disagreement anytime there is a transition.

On the allegation that he sold assets belonging to the state government: the former governor said everything done followed due process.

He noted that the panel set up by the Rivers State Government cannot indict him, as it is only a court of competent jurisdiction that has the right to do so.

Raecting to the nomination of Hon. Odum Odi as a minister from Rivers State, Amaechi said President Buhari nominated Odim and not him.

On if the APC would appear on the ballot in next year’s election in the state: He said they have gone past that stage, noting that that party would be on the ballot. Stressing that the challenge in 2019 and 2022 are not the same.

He urged party members to work for the success of the APC at all levels in the 2023 general elections.
