The operators of Artisanal Refineries known as Kpofire in Rumuekpe have vowed to cripple every operation of Shell petroleum development company and its sister company if the State Government tries to stop the activities.
In the move to stop Oil Bunkering in the State, Rumuekpe Community in Emohua local Government Area was not left out as Soldiers storm the Area for the total destruction of Bunkering Point and Ovens.
According to report, Trouble started when the soldiers arrived the area burning motorcycles suspected to be used for the transportation of the illegal refined products. The angry youths in their Numbers blocked the Soldiers from gaining access to the bunkering sites.
The Youths lamented that since the State Government have refused to remember the Community despite been a host to Multi national oil Companies yet no Single School, health care facility, good road, electricity Neither were they Employed.
