The Former Senator Representing Rivers South East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe officially Defects to Social Democratic Party SDP in Rivers State.
As you may Know, Abe had resigned his Membership of the Ruling All Progressive Party APC in Rivers State following his constant disagreement with the former Minister for Transportation, Chibuuke Rotimi Amaechi.

According to him in a state, he said yes he is a member of SDP.
“Yes I am and I have been a member of the social Democratic Party SDP. I remain irrevocably committed to the ideals that have driven my politics through the years.
“We will continue to do all we can to improve internal democracy in the politics of our country and focus on the people” He said.
