Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company-owned boats and watercraft, providing enjoyable and memorable experiences for passengers.
- Conduct pre-departure checks and inspections to ensure the seaworthiness and safety of the vessel.
- Navigate waterways, harbors, and coastal areas while adhering to maritime regulations and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about safety procedures, points of interest, and local landmarks.
- Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and securing personal belongings during the voyage.
- Monitor weather conditions and water traffic to assess risks and make informed decisions regarding route adjustments or cancellations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to passenger inquiries, concerns, and emergencies, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vessel, including routine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
- Valid Boating License or equivalent certification.
- 5 years of experience as a boat engineer or marine technician, preferably in a boating or maritime environment
- Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, navigational techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with passengers of all ages and backgrounds.
- Proven ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, particularly in emergency situations.
- Physical fitness and agility to perform duties such as lifting, bending, and maneuvering in confined spaces.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm for boating, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
