Responsibilities:
- Lead technical initiatives related to pigging and corrosion monitoring, providing expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Develop and implement advanced monitoring strategies to detect and assess pipeline corrosion and integrity threats.
- Design and optimize pigging campaigns, incorporating innovative technologies and methodologies to enhance performance and accuracy.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and integrity evaluations to prioritize maintenance and mitigation efforts.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to develop tailored solutions that meet specific operational and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to field personnel, ensuring the proper implementation of monitoring and inspection protocols.
- Analyze data from pigging and monitoring activities to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to pigging and corrosion monitoring.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in pipeline integrity management, with a focus on pigging and corrosion monitoring
- Proficiency in corrosion monitoring techniques, including cathodic protection, corrosion coupons, and corrosion rate monitoring.
- Strong understanding of pigging technologies and methodologies, including intelligent pigging and geometry inspection.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing pipeline integrity and corrosion management (e.g., API 1169, NACE).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and field locations as required.
