Job Summary:
Nestlé Nigeria is currently looking for an Instrumentation Engineer, who will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
- Support in implementation and administration of Digital Manufacturing Operations/ Factory Automation systems in the site.
- Responsible to drive Reliability Centered Maintenance approach on site.
- Act as backup to Maintenance Planner.
- S/he will need a thorough understanding of the operational processes of the organization as the role is multidisciplinary, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including New Projects, Building Panels, and Maintenance.
Requirements:
- HND / B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in manufacturing/production.
- Must be residing or willing to relocate to Abuja and work in Abaji, FCT
Required Skills:
- Advance process control (APC).
- Distributed control systems (DCS).
- Programmable logic controllers Siemens S7 series (PLC). Understanding of other PLCs will be an advantage.
- Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
- Troubleshooting PLC and Panels.
- Excellent Working in PID’s and fine tuning control Loops.
- Excellent knowledge in Electrical and Machinery Safety with good understanding of PLC and electronics safety modules
- Good understanding of Fluke Calibrators, PROCAL, ABB smart sensors, SKF reliability tools, PdM, Microlog, etc.
- Calibration and simulation of different devices to meet up with HACCP, QMS and any other legislative requirement.
- SAP AMM module.
