First Independent Power Limited (FIPL), a subsidiary of Sahara Power Group, is a privately owned company in the business of power generation in Nigeria located in Rivers State.

Job Title: HEAD, FINAL ACCOUNTS & GENERAL LEDGER

Responsibilities:

• Management Account Preparation.
• Monthly lnventory count and reconciliation.
• Fixed Asset Register maintenance & reconciliation.
• Regulatory Reporting & Compliance.
• Monthly TB Reconciliation audit trails & relevant documentation.
• Overall Management of the TB ensuring Accuracy, Schedules & completeness of all backing documentation.
• Receivables & Payables Accounting & Reconciliation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in BSc Accounting or Economics.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Audit practice.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong knowledge & experience with financial statement preparation
• Membership of relevant professional institute (ICAN or ACCA)
• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills Experience with Sage or any ERP is a plus
