Location: Port – Harcourt
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven business executive to lead and grow our engineering firm’s client portfolio and drive strategic business development initiatives and social media management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering services, excellent negotiation skills, social management, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential clients to understand their technical requirements and present tailored engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Schedule and attend business development meetings with clients.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Analyse social media metrics and prepare reports to measure the success of campaigns and content.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to maximise profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Qualify the report and assess the suitability of the material before submitting it to clients.
- Create and manage published content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin, etc.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing.
- Stay updated with safety rules and adjust where necessary.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and business intelligence platforms.
- Consistently work towards and exceed set targets/KPIs.
Requirements
- BSc in a related discipline, business admin, economics, or engineering mgt related.
- 3 years’ experience in business executive and social media management
- Good numerical accuracy
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using tools like Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other performance analytics platforms.
- Proven track record in developing client relationships and driving business growth.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Clear, confident communicator, able to influence both clients and the business environment.
- Organised, resilient, and professional in your approach.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using content management systems and other relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress.
