We are seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position as a crane Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on offshore cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Ensure all crane operations comply with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Support operational efficiency by maintaining crane availability and reliability.
  • Develop technical knowledge through continuous training and on-the-job learning.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on offshore cranes.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on cranes.
  • Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new crane systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE and operational procedures.
  • Participate in safety drills and toolbox talks.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians and supervisors on repair projects.
  • Report defects, malfunctions, and required repairs to the supervisor.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for crane operations.
  • Support inventory management by identifying required spare parts.

Requirements

  • OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in crane maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical crane systems
  • Basic knowledge of offshore operations and safety protocols
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
