Descaling tool Supervisor at LES Energy Services

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise descaling tool operations, overseeing a team of skilled technicians.
  • Plan and coordinate descaling projects in collaboration with project managers and clients.
  • Conduct pre-job assessments to identify project requirements, risks, and resource needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure safe and efficient execution of descaling activities.
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshooting any operational issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including job reports, equipment maintenance logs, and inspection data.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and improve descaling tools and techniques.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience in pipeline maintenance or industrial cleaning operations API, NACE certified.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
  • Knowledge of descaling tools and techniques, including pigging, chemical cleaning, and mechanical descaling.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work in outdoor environments.
