Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise descaling tool operations, overseeing a team of skilled technicians.
- Plan and coordinate descaling projects in collaboration with project managers and clients.
- Conduct pre-job assessments to identify project requirements, risks, and resource needs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure safe and efficient execution of descaling activities.
- Monitor project progress, troubleshooting any operational issues and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including job reports, equipment maintenance logs, and inspection data.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and improve descaling tools and techniques.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred).
- Proven experience in pipeline maintenance or industrial cleaning operations API, NACE certified.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Knowledge of descaling tools and techniques, including pigging, chemical cleaning, and mechanical descaling.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in outdoor environments.
