Mechanical Engineer Job Vacancy at Chi Farms Limited

Chi Farms Ltd. is an integrated poultry farm with breeding operations and processing of commercial broilers. The company hatches and distributes commercial pullets and broilers. Chi Farms also supplies a wide range of poultry vaccines to the Nigerian poultry sector supported by its own laboratories and veterinary services.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing support and leadership in their everyday work assignments.
• Keep maintenance inventory, and prepare weekly maintenance reports.
• Perform repair or general maintenance work on feeders, drinkers and the chains.
• Ensure all equipment is operational and working properly.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies including spare parts.
• Report mechanical and electrical malfunctions to high authorities where necessary.
• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance including preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance in pen houses.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or Bsc in mechanical engineering
• 3-5 years working experience as a mechanical engineer.
