Job Summary:

As the Nuclear Medicine Consultant for the AMCE, you will be tasked with the responsibility of overseeing the nursing operations within the Nuclear Medicine department. The post holder will ensure that nursing operations in the department are delivered to optimal standards, ensuring the delivery of high quality and safe health care services for patients across all service.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the strategy budgets for Nuclear Medicine ensuring resources are allocated correctly and expenses are accounted for.
  • Accountable for policy implementation and the operating procedures for Nuclear Medicine services.
  • In Conjunction with the Lead Consultant Radiologist, take responsibility for the review of clinical procedures across Nuclear Medicine services with a focus on continuous improvement of services.
  • Take accountability of the overall progress of the strategy across Nuclear medicine services to ensure completion within agreed timescales.
  • Design, implement and oversee the strategic plan in accordance with the regulatory bodies, local country plans and ensuring that they are aligned with corporate policies and procedures and applicable local laws, regulations and code of practice.
  • To maintain accurate records of operations across Nuclear Medicine services, ensuring that confidentiality of information is maintained.
