Lagos State University (LASU) is a state-owned university established by the Lagos State government in 1983 with Its main campus situated at Ojo.

General Requirements:
- All applicants MUST possess Master Degree and/or Ph.D where applicable for the desired position.
- In addition, applicant must have relevant teaching or research experience, i.e. senior lecturer positions, minimum of six (6) years teaching/research experience,
- lecturer I position, minimum of three (3) years teaching/ research experience in a University, research institution or equivalent institution.
- For the College of Medicine, especially in Clinical and Basic Clinical Sciences, Postgraduate qualifications such as FWACS, FMCOG, FWCAP is accepted.
- All applicants MUST have SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L credits in 5 subjects including Mathematics and English.
- Applicant must be ICT compliant.
