Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Focal Desk Officer to join our team. The Focal Desk Officer at serves as the central point of contact for administrative and operational activities within the college. This role involves coordinating academic programs, managing student records, and facilitating effective communication between faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. The Focal Desk Officer ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, supports quality assurance processes, and provides essential administrative support to enhance the overall functioning of the nursing college. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to the college’s goals and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in audits, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Acting as the primary contact point for the project or program.
  • Coordinating and managing program activities.
  • Facilitating communication between various stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of the program.
  • Preparing reports and documentation related to the program.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor of Nursing Science and any relevant field such as Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, or any other related discipline.
  • Advanced degrees or professional certifications can be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in an educational or healthcare institution, preferably in an administrative or coordination role.
  • Experience in nursing education or healthcare management is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
