Job Summary
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and conversion for their clients. You will play a key role in managing their clients’ social media presence across various platforms, fostering meaningful interactions with their target audiences, and driving measurable results.
Responsibilities:
1) Strategy Development
- Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives, target audience, and industry trends.
- Identify key opportunities for growth and engagement on social media platforms, and develop tailored strategies to capitalize on them.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and algorithm changes across social media channels to inform strategy development.
2) Content Creation and Management:
- Create compelling and engaging content for social media posts, including copywriting, graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting across all social media platforms.
- Monitor content performance metrics and adjust content strategy as needed to optimize engagement and reach.
3) Community Management:
- Manage and moderate client’s social media accounts, engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering positive interactions.
- Monitor social media conversations and trends related to clients’ brands or industry, and proactively participate in relevant discussions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues as needed.
4) Campaign Execution and Optimization:
- Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, budget management, ad creative development, and performance tracking.
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as creative, analytics, and client services to ensure alignment and integration of social media efforts with overall marketing strategy.
5) Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance, including key metrics, campaign results, and actionable insights.
- Monitor industry benchmarks and competitor activities to benchmark performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner, demonstrating the value of social media efforts in achieving their business goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; relevant certifications in social media marketing is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in social media management, with 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a marketing agency environment.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices, with expertise in content creation, community management, and paid advertising.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write compelling copy and engage with diverse audiences effectively.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to drive strategy and decision-making.
- Creative thinker with a passion for staying ahead of social media trends and exploring new opportunities for engagement and growth.
