Chi Farms Ltd. is an integrated poultry farm with breeding operations and processing of commercial broilers. The company hatches and distributes commercial pullets and broilers. Chi Farms also supplies a wide range of poultry vaccines to the Nigerian poultry sector supported by its own laboratories and veterinary services.

Job Summary

To supervise and coordinate the work of farm attendants and ensure farm activities are carried out efficiently in compliance with established standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of poultry production, including feeding, drinkers and health management
• Conduct regular inspections of poultry housing facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Ensure proper housing conditions and manage the environment to optimize growth and productivity.
• Track and analyze production metrics such as feed conversion ratios and egg production performance.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of diseases.
• Monitor and analyse poultry health, including early detection and treatment of illnesses.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations relating to poultry production and animal welfare.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field.
• Proven experience in farm management and coordination.
• 3–5 years of proven work experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of modern farming practices, crop cultivation, and animal husbandry.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in data entry.
