1) Central Control Room (CCR) Chemist
Job Summary
The CCR Chemist is to produce good quality clinker by monitoring quality from raw material stage to the finished product with regards to efficiency and effectiveness. To monitor all quality control equipment with calibration where required. Relate with other customers and interested parties to avert quality violation
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Science Lab tech, Chemistry or Applied science or chemical engineering with similar experience on the job with up to 5 years’ experience in cement plant.
- Good knowledge of quarry limestone history, cement chemistry and the relevant standards.
- Good knowledge of cement dry process.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft data processing (Word, Excel and power point)
- Good knowledge of Equipment operations (XRF X’, Lab X 8000, Cross belt analyzer and other laboratory equipment.) maintenance and calibration.
- Good knowledge and understanding of NIS 444-1-2018.
- Must be organized and result oriented.
- Must be a team player and leader.
- Must have analytical mind.
- Ability to follow trends of events and initiative.
- Must have good technical background.
- Guiding and supervision skills.
- Good knowledge of Shift management.
- High level of problem solving to profound solutions to production and quality problems (human, equipment and material).
2) Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary
Ensuring the availability of Mechanical equipment for production of clinker and reduction of downtime.
Responsibilities
- Make preventive orders of spares for machines/equipment to reduce downtime notification of nearly worn/damage of equipment/machine parts and request for relevant changes.
- Implementation of special maintenance and control of equipment.
- Collaborations in modifications to plant and equipment to ensure optimum operations.
Requirements
- B.Eng/Bsc/ HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7 years cognate experience in Cement plant maintenance-VRM and Kiln/cone and Gyratory crushers.

3) Security Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a disciplined, experienced, and strategic Security Manager with a background not below the rank of a Captain (or its equivalent) in the military, police, or paramilitary services. The Security Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s security operations, personnel, and infrastructure to ensure the safety of staff, assets, and premises.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team (internal and outsourced).
- Assess and identify security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to employees and property.
- Manage crisis situations and incidents, including investigation and reporting.
- Coordinate the monitoring of surveillance systems, access controls, patrol schedules, and perimeter protection.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency response agencies when needed.
- Train security staff and other employees on security awareness and emergency procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports on incidents, threats, and risk assessments to management.
- Control the issuance of third party ID cards, access passes, and ensure effective visitor management.
- Manage and oversee the performance, discipline, and welfare of security personnel.
- Coordinate background checks and vetting of new employees or contractors.
- Enforce company policies and ensure regulatory compliance related to safety and security
Requirements
- Retired or honorably discharged officer with a rank not below Captain (Army) or equivalent: Police – Superintendent of Police (SP), NSCDC – Superintendent Corps (SC), Navy – Lieutenant, Air Force – Flight Lieutenant.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in security operations, including leadership roles.
- Working knowledge of security systems, surveillance, and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be physically fit and mentally alert.
- Background in industrial, corporate, or facility security management.
- Certification in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, asset protection, intelligence gathering, and investigation.
