Job Description:

Ensure the proper functioning of the electrical parts of machinery or equipment present in the job site, plants and maintenance bases, in compliance with superior instructions and following the appropriate manuals supplied by the manufacturers ensuring the respect of Quality and HSE procedures and practices

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the equipment and devices and provide for preventive routine and non routine maintenance for all the equipment present in the areas and/or job sites assigned, in accordance with superior instructions received
  • Identify electrical malfunction and proceeding promptly with the appropriate repairs
  • Ensure proper use and management of all electrical repairs, tools and testing equipment
  • Interpreting the manuals and diagrams of electrical installations
  • Be well-informed about all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem and by the Operator, applying them and promoting their implementation
  • Use compulsory protective equipment and be safety minded during day-to-day work
  • Attend safety meetings and conduct special safety meetings with electric crew whenever necessary
  • Carry out his duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan when needed
  • Promptly report any safety hazard, accident, near-miss accident and non-conformance through proper channels
  • Organize tools and materials needed to perform the work
  • Ensure good housekeeping in his/her working area
  • Propose spare parts to be purchased
