Job Summary

We are looking for a competent College Secretary to support our administrative team at our newly established nursing school. The College Secretary will be responsible for managing office operations, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient functioning of the college.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize office operations and procedures, including filing systems and office supplies.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments, and coordinate communication between departments.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing correspondence, memos, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Organize and maintain the administrative office, ensuring efficient operation and coordination of office activities.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory, ensuring timely procurement and maintenance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Relay important messages and information to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years’ experience as a secretary or administrative assistant.
  • Proficient in office software (e.g., MS Office) and strong typing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
