Shell Petroleum Development Company SPDC is a multi National oil and gas industry. They are recruiting qualified candidates with a Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) certificates from a recognized institution in the field as mentioned below to fill the following Vacant Positions.

1. Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

As a mentenance technician, you will be responsible for;

  • Efficient execution of maintenance activities according to the task list and instruction provided in work pack
  • Fully support drive to increase production availability by performing required quality maintenance
  • Feedback of quality of work preparation with suggestions for improvements.

Requirements

  • A national diploma (ND) or equivalent in a relevant engineering field with at least 3 years’ experience in Electrical maintenance or engineering
  • Must be computer literate and be proficient in the use computerized maintenance management systems preferably SAP
  • Skilled at written and verbal communication
  • Willing to create and manage safe changes to work practices

2. Bonga Operations Technician

As a Bonga operations Technician, you will be responsible to operate and maintain production systems safely and efficiently ensuring the correct quantity and quality of products are delivered.

You will work primarily with the Shift Supervisor, Operations Engineer, Operations Supervisor, Technical Custodian Subsea, Maintenance Technicians, Operations Technicians on same and other shifts, Contract staff, the Marine Team and Vendor Representatives for overall safe running of the Bonga production systems.

Requirements

  • You must have a National Diploma (ND) or its equivalent in a relevant engineering field
  • Must have legal authorization to work on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
  • Completion of the Shell Intensive Training Programme 2 (SITP 2) will be an advantage.

3. Maintenance Technician (Metering)

Requirements

  • A national diploma (ND) or equivalent in a relevant engineering field with at least 3 years’ experience in Electrical/Instrumentation/Control systems (preferably fiscal metering, instrumentation, and control) maintenance or engineering.
  • Must be computer literate and be proficient in the use of computerized maintenance management systems preferably SAP.
  • Skilled at written and verbal communication
  • Willing to create and manage safe changes to work practices.
  • Willing to partake in audits and investigations.
