1.) Head, Maintenance and Engineering

Job Summary:

The Head, Maintenance & Engineering plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient & safe functioning of the terminals, which serve as critical hubs for receiving, storing, and distributing..

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the terminals, including product receipt, storage, blending, and dispatch with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices.
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for terminal equipment and systems
  • Ensure that all terminal operations and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Conducting regular safety inspections, risks assessments, and audits
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for terminal incidents. Conduct drills and exercises to prepare the team for potential emergencies.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external service providers and contractors to perform specialized maintenance tasks or repairs. Manage vendor contracts, negotiate service agreements, and ensure service quality
  • Provide visible leadership to various teams in the Terminal โ€“ operators, maintenance technicians, and engineers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and operational activities, including maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Implement and monitor environmental management practices to minimize the environmental impact of the terminal operations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with up to 10 years of experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a similar role
  • Membership of relevant professional association is highly desired
  • Vast understanding of terminal operations, maintenance practices, safety regulations, and industry best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex terminal-related issues and develop effective solutions
  • Strong focus and commitment to safety
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Collaborative attitude
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Optimizing resources for terminal maintenance and operations

2.) Retail & Terminal Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Summary:

The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and engineering activities of the retail outlets as well as ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the retail facilities

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring building structures, storage tanks, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and other related equipment
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure all retail facilities are at peak performance
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risks assessments, and audits to identify and rectify potential hazards promptly
  • Ensure all retail outfits comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and other relevant legal requirements
  • Monitor the performance and reliability of retail equipment and systems, analyzing data to improve operational efficiency and reduce maintenance costs
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and enhance the organizationโ€™s environmental performance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including service logs, equipment manuals, and compliance documentation
  • Develop & execute emergency response plans for retail facilities
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety and operational excellence
  • Coordinate with external service providers and contractors to perform specialized maintenance tasks or repairs. Manage vendor contracts, negotiate service agreements, and ensure service quality.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth understanding of facility maintenance principles, safety regulations, and industry best practices, particularly in the oil and gas sector
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse maintenance team
  • Strong commitment to safety, ensuring all retail facilities meet safety standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of budget management and cost control
  • Internal and external stakeholder management capability
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
