1.) Field Service Team Lead

Responsibilities

The field Service team lead will be responsible to;

  • He/She will assist the Field Service Manager in many forums with Sales, Customers, Technical Service, Agreements, and QHSE.
  • The Field Service Team Lead will actively work in developing and coaching Engineers, identifying the improvement areas and driving the teams through different challenges.
  • His/her primary location will be Lagos Office but will be required to travel whenever necessary to location with Nigeria and Cameroun and will report to the Field Service Manager Nigeria & Central Africa.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical discipline (Advanced Degrees Preferred);
  • Minimum 5 Years of Field Service or Power Plant Experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with responsibility for managing costs and revenues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and customer empathy.
  • PMP Certification would be an advantage.
  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrable teamwork skills and the ability to adjust and re-plan in dynamic situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and well-developed cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Proficiency with standard MS tools and experience with SAP would be an advantage.
  • Being fluent in English will be seen as an advantage.

2.) Plant Operator

Responsibilities

  • Gas Power Plant Operation and Maintenance.
  • Independently handling the Shift operations of Power Plant.
  • Starting of Gas Engines, Synchronization of engines. Island and Parallel mode of Operation with other engines.
  • Avoiding of plant black outs. In case of emergency must know to recover the power plant with minimum time during plant blackout situation.
  • Preparation of Shift, Daily, Weekly, and Incident Reports.
  • Starting and stopping of Engine Auxiliary equipment’s- Like, LO Separators, Starting Air Compressors, IA Compressors, LFO/Honeyeaters, RO Plant and Fire Hydrant Operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Power Plant Experience.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Good observational skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.

Location: Calabar, Nigeria

3.) Assistant Operations Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the plant during the shift according to company policies, procedures and operation profile/plan.
  • Assist Shift Supervisor as required.
  • Follow all procedures and instructions related to start-up, shut-down and normal operations of the power plant systems.
  • Maintain all operation records (including logs, checklists and running records) according to guidelines.
  • Coach and mentor operators and general labour.
  • Assist in taking corrective action during system operational disturbance.
  • Communicate effectively the condition of all plant equipments, any deviation/ disturbance from the normal conditions and other performances to shift supervisor in charge and colleagues.
