Job Summary:

Lead the IT strategy, drive digital transformation initiatives, and foster innovation leveraging technology and data to optimize manufacturing processes and continuously improving operational efficiency across FMN and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and champion the development of the Information Technology (IT) strategy to align with the corporate strategy of the group.
  • Strategically lead the digital transformation efforts across FMN subsidiaries by identifying opportunities to integrate digital technologies across functional touchpoints – manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and other operational areas.
  • Develop the Group’s IT policies and driving compliance across subsidiaries in maintaining integrity, security and performance of the FMN’s technical infrastructure.
  • Identify and recommend fit for purpose technologies as a result of business changes and emerging technology trends with a potential impact on type/ level of utilization.
  • Oversee generation of service reports highlighting breaches of SLA targets, investigations and actions taken to prevent recurrence.
  • Define and implement efficient technology architectures, methodologies, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously review and identify technology needs and ensure that the appropriate cost effective software solutions are developed and or deployed.
  • Implement best practice for IT service management and set guidelines for ITIL frameworks and for incident response

Requirements:

  • 1st degree in Computer Science and Information Technology, Software Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
  • Have at least 15 years cognate work experience, with at least 5 years in an IT leadership position in a FMCG or manufacturing industry.
