Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer at Karsto Global Resources Limited.

We are seeking a highly qualified Healtn, Sarety, and Environment Officer to join our team. As an HSE Officer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the protection of the environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years of working experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., GHSE, NEBOSH, OSHA) are preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Work experience in offshore environments
• HSE related trainings is an added advantage.
• Should reside in Port Harcourt or willing to relocate.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Basic knowledge of risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of the relevant HSE laws governing oil & gas exploration and production in Nigeria.
• Ability to apply a structured approach to identify issues and define solutions
• Basic knowledge on accident prevention, incident investigation and safety regulations
• Knowledge of PPE usage and handling
• Creative and innovative Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Words/Excel/Power point/Outlook/Projects)
• Self-starter and a team player who is target and result-driven.
