HVAC Mechanical Technician at Megawatts Nigeria Limited

Megawatts Nigeria Limited is a private infrastructure solutions provider in Nigeria, specializing in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineering services for construction and industrial projects. Their services focus on design, installation, and maintenance of building systems such as electrical power systems, piping/plumbing, fire protection, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), and other electromechanical systems.

We are recruiting qualified candidates to join our team as an HVAC Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspection, servicing, and preventive maintenance of split units, cassette units, VRF/VRV systems
• Diagnose faults, execute corrective repairs, and restore systems to operating condition.
• Monitor system performance, refrigerant levels, electrical connections, airflow, and controls, escalating major faults when beyond site-level repair scope.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, job cards, and service reports in line with facility management standards
• Enforce safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and OEM-recommended maintenance practices at all times.
• Identify inefficiencies, leakages, and abnormal operating patterns.
• Coordinate with facility management, vendors, and supervisors during shutdowns, major repairs, or system upgrades.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or OND in related field 3years of industry experience
• Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline with 1 year of industry experience
