Job Description

Responsible for I&C design of the assigned system(s) by the lead engineer on a large project
Leading the I&C team in small projects
Training and development of less experienced engineers within the I&C team

Available Positions

  • Lead I&C Engineer
  • Senior I&C Engineer
  • Intermediate I&C Engineer/Designer

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assigned portion of I&C design of oil and gas facilities covering preparation of I&C philosophies, specifications, systems (PCS, SSS F&G, ICCS, DCS) design, control narrative, I&C datasheets, Instrument sizing, I&C lists & schedules, MTO, RFQ, cause & effect matrix and procedures on the large project under the supervision of lead engineer
  • Responsible for all work completed in I&C discipline on small projects
  • Planning, management and coordination of I&C Discipline activities in the projects including client and subcontractor\vendors, from conception through to commissioning in small projects
  • Provide I&C input to other disciplines and 3rd parties (including vendors)
  • Perform interdisciplinary checks when the task is delegated to him or when acting as the I&C team lead
  • Participate in technical and design review workshops as per project requirements
  • Training and Development of less experienced engineers within the team as per the I&C discipline plan
  • Perform other duties as may be directed by the company.

Key Competencies

  • Proficient in using Instrucalc, SPI, Aveva Instrumetation, Aveva Engineering or equivalence
  • Strong Problem Solving, Planning and organizing skills
  • Good leadership skills
  • Excellent understaning of Control, Safety and F&G systems
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of autonomy and self-efficiency with attention to details
  • Highly aware of process technical safety

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical\Electronic Engineering
  • 8 to 13 years of I&C design experience in oil and gas projects
  • Working knowledge of codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to design and construction of oil and gas production/processing
  • facilities including and Client standards
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas facilities and project management
  • Registered professional engineer.
