WaalEnergy is a Nigerian company operating in the oil and gas sector, primarily focused on engineering, procurement, construction, and technical services.
We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as an Instrumentation Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Execute FEED and Detailed engineering for Instrumentation, Control, and Automation systems.
- Develop instrumentation design philosophies, specifications, and datasheets.
- Select, size, and specify field instruments such as flow, pressure, temperature, and level devices.
- Prepare instrument index, hook-up drawings, wiring and termination drawings, instrument loop drawings, and installation details.
- Design of Fire and Gas systems.
- Prepare Instrument MTO.
- Design and specify control systems, including DCS, PLC, SCADA, and ICSS architectures.
- Develop control narratives, cause & effect matrices, and logic diagrams.
- Contribute to the development and review of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Ensure proper tagging, control philosophy alignment, and instrument integration.
- Support site installations, loop checking, and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 4–8 years experience in instrumentation design engineering.
