Powergas Global Investment Nigeria Limited & Powergas Ebedei Limited known as Powergas is Africa’s largest compressed natural gas (CNG) producer and distributor and pioneer in “virtual pipeline” gas distribution, providing CNG to customers where gas pipeline connectivity is unavailable.
The company has rapidly grown to become the leading CNG Gas company in Nigeria maintaining the largest production and distribution capacity in Africa.

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team in the following positions:

1) Junior Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitoring equipment performance.
• Identifying equipment problems before they become major failures.
• Supervising maintenance activities.
• Assisting with repairs and maintenance of industrial plant equipment.
• Preparing maintenance reports and documentation.
• Ensuring maintenance work follows company procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with HSSE requirements.
• Supporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• ND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• Understanding of equipment maintenance principles.
• Knowledge of safety procedures.
• Good problem-solving and analytical ability.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of HSSE standards is an advantage

2) Field Operator

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring CNG plant equipment.
• Conducting routine plant inspections.
• Checking equipment and identifying abnormal operating conditions.
• Reporting equipment/operational abnormalities.
• Supporting safe CNG loading operations.
• Maintaining accurate operational records.
• Following approved operating procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs and HSSE standards.
• Supporting safe and reliable day-to-day plant operations.

Requirements

• Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum/Oil & Gas-related disciplines
• candidates should be comfortable working around industrial equipment and following strict safety procedures.
