Mente Energy is an African energy transition advisory firm that supports the shift to sustainable energy systems. The company delivers projects in renewable energy, climate finance, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), and sustainable infrastructure. It works with organizations to develop innovative solutions that promote clean energy adoption, environmental sustainability, and long-term economic growth across Africa.
We are recruiting qualified candidates to apply for the internship programme.
Responsibilities
- Research ESG trends, clean energy developments, and policy updates globally.
- Create thought leadership materials and social media content.
- Identify and track funding, grants, and partnership opportunities relevant to Mente Energy’s work.
- Support the writing and preparation of concept notes and proposals.
- Contribute across Mente Energy’s ESG and clean energy projects as needed.
Requirements
- Be a first-degree holder or undergraduate/polytechnic student in Law, Environmental Science, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Policy, STEM, or other related disciplines.
- Be curious, enjoy reading widely, following trends, and solving problems.
- Have strong writing and communication skills.
- Be digitally savvy and comfortable using AI tools, design tools, and Microsoft Office.
