Standard Testing & Inspection Services Ltd. We are recruiting qualified candidate to join our team as a Field Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Assist Field Engineers, Field Specialists, and Field Supervisors with onshore and offshore field operations.
- Prepare, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and materials required for field activities.
- Support equipment setup, inspection, testing, maintenance, and demobilization activities.
- Load, unload, and handle equipment and materials in accordance with safe work procedures.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Assist in maintaining accurate field records, checklists, inventory logs, and daily activity reports.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Comply with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, risk assessments, and emergency drills.
- Support warehouse and logistics operations when required.
- Assist in mobilizing personnel and equipment to project sites.
- Carry out other field-related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in field operations, engineering support, inspection, maintenance, or industrial services.
- Previous experience in the oil and gas or engineering industry is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of field operations and industrial safety practices.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- HSE Levels 1, 2 & 3, BOSIET and HUET Certificate is an added advantage.
