TAG Energy is an integrated service company offering a comprehensive range of oilfield products and support services in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry.

We are hiring to fill in the following positions:

1) Mechanical Technician

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, testing and calibration of PSVs
  • Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
  • Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
  • Resolve motor, valves, pump, conveyor, and hydraulic problems.
  • Ensure high level technical support to lower level technicians.
  • Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks and bobcats.
  • Comply with the company and customer regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • HND/B. Eng in Mechanical engineering or any related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a mechanical technician.
  • Analytical, Critical thinking and Problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance and repairs.
  • Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside business hour.

2) Admin Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and operate a switchboard.
  • Coordinate office activities, including meeting scheduling, office supplies, etc
  • Oversee routine maintenance and other repairs.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail correspondence.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
  • Assist with company registrations and other admin tasks as assigned.
  • Schedule and update calendar appointments.
  • Handle travel itinerary, hotel booking, and car hire.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
  • Maintain the welcome desk with a professional appearance.

Requirements

  • B.A/B.Sc in any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a professional environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing company.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision and work within a small team
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Must have prior experience with Microsoft Office
