Established to meet the higher education needs of Kogi State and the wider Nigerian community, KSUK is now in its second academic session and steadily growing into a hub of excellence.

- Ph.D. with a minimum of 10 years of university teaching experience
- At least 3 years as Reader
- Proven postgraduate supervision at Ph.D. level
- At least 24 academic publications (8 may be edited conference papers)
- Strong research track record and external assessment
Reader
- Ph.D. with a minimum of 8 years of university teaching experience
- At least 3 years as Senior Lecturer
- Minimum of 18 publications (6 may be edited conference papers)
- Demonstrated academic leadership and research capability
Senior Lecturer / Principal Librarian
- Ph.D. with at least 3 years as Lecturer I
- Minimum of 10 publications (4 may be edited conference proceedings)
- Lecturer I / Senior Librarian
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree with 3 years as Lecturer II
- Minimum of 5 publications (Ph.D.) or 7 publications (Master’s)
Lecturer II / Librarian I
