Cocean Nigeria Integrated Limited is an indigenous Nigerian company which provides various products and technical services to the petroleum industry.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of a Maintenance Officer.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Officer will function under the Fleet/ Logistics Department and will be saddled with the following

Responsibilities:

  • Developing maintenance plans and implementation
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance for fleets
  • Diagnosing and fixing faults in vehicles
  • Delegating maintenance tasks to team members and sourcing for relevant vendors and service providers
  • Maintain asset register for all company vehicles
  • Liaising with service providers, performing regular inspections of vehicles and supplies
  • Ensuring quality control standards are consistently met
  • Keeping track of supply and material inventories
  • Purchasing equipment, tool and any materials that may be required
  • Updating maintenance logs for every vehicle
  • Ensuring basic tools and machinery are in working condition by performing regular inspections
  • Provide supervision, guidance and training to all new and existing crew
  • Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement
  • Provide daily vehicle status and other maintenance periodic reports
  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • A BSC/HND in the Mechanical Engineering/ related fields.
  • 2 – 5 years minimum Experience
  • Must be versatile with Microsoft Excel
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
