No Casualty as Three-storey building collapse in Port Harcourt

A three-storey building in Port Harcourt has collapsed causing damages.

The three-story old building partially collapsed this morning around 4.35 am leaving the occupants stranded and in shock.

The building collapsed at No 112 Bende Street, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to an eye witness who confirmed the incident to Area Talk Report said is an old building inhabited by some families.

He said “The building at No 112 Bende Street, Port Harcourt is a very old building inhabited by some families who are risking their lives.

“Residents and passersby rushed to get ladders and other safety equipment measures to evacuate the occupants as the staircase was also affected by the collapse.

As at time of Report, No casualties was Recorded.
