The youth wing of peoples Democratic party PDP in Rivers State has raised alarm over Gov. Wike’s incessant anti Party activities and his romance with members of APC and other political parties.
According to the statement signed by the leader, Enyi Wisdom Alfred who said the Governor is romancing with members of APC and other political parties in his bid to sabotage PDP come 2023.
The Statement reads;
“The attention of concern PDP Youths have been drawn to the incessant anti party activities of Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON GSSRS, POS Africa, the Governor of Rivers State and his romance with members of APC and other political parties, in his bid to sabotage PDP come 2023.
“We have observed that since Wike lost out to Atiku Abubakar on the presidential primary, he has been on the exodus romancing with the members of APC and other political parties, in search of refuge for 2023 .
“It is said that a clear conscience fears no accusations and we wonder why Gov. Wike will be in the habit of romancing with opposition party members if truly he has no skeleton in his carbod that he is afraid of. We are tempted to ask if losing Primary election has been a bases for a sitting Governor to work against his party that have given him everything he has on earth even when he has not worked one day as either a businessman, legal practitioner or civil servant.
“We must not forget that Gov. Wike, directed some Governorship candidates of PDP in Rivers State not to contest for a position which they aspired for, yet none of these persons have gone from pillars to post in search of hideout nor defection .
“Governor E. N Wike, has in his body language, been running and inviting members of Opposition parties, both in secrets and in open to initiate meetings and modalities on how to reck PDP in Rivers State. But one thing we are sure of, is that Governor Wike, cannot reck PDP nor can he play his bid in bringing Atiku Abubakar down in 2023 elections.
“He has but one vote, however, just like every other person.
“We urge PDP National Working Committee to take immediate action against Governor Wike, for his anti party activities.
