“internally displaced politicians” behind the political crisis in Rivers State ~ Chidi Lloyd

by Area Talk

A former member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, and Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Chidi Lloyd, has slammed former Rivers State Governor Peter Odili for endorsing Governor Siminalayi Fubara as the leader of the PDP in the State.

Dr. Lloyd who appeared on Channels Television live program, said he expected the former governor to advise both Governor Fubara and the FCT Minister Wike to sheath their swords.

Dr. Lloyd also debunked reports that the PDP in the state is divided. He described those he said were causing crises in the state as internally displaced politicians.

Rivers has been a hotbed of political imbroglio in the last few months with Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, going their separate ways.

The situation has since torn the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state apart, with some being in Wike’s camp and others in Fubara’s.
