Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physiology Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, proven teaching experience, and a passion for teaching human physiology.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lectures in Physiology to students.
  • Develop and implement course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Provide academic support and mentorship to students.
  • Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a first degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in Physiology, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PDA) or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is required.
  • Proven teaching experience in a tertiary education setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
  • Demonstrated dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
