We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a QA/QC Materials Officer.
Job Summary
We are looking for a QA/QC Materials Officer to join our team. This role ensures that all materials procured meet required specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with manufacturers, OEMs, and the procurement team to maintain compliance and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify materials received or about to be procured to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Review and confirm that Purchase Orders (POs) match material specifications.
- Liaise with manufacturers and OEMs to validate product quality and certifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and quality checks.
- Report findings and recommendations to the Procurement Manager.
- Ensure all materials comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for incoming materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in QA/QC or materials inspection (oil & gas experience preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of QA/QC standards and material specifications in the oil & gas industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with vendors and OEMs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with procurement and operations teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and certification processes
