Supervisor, Maintenance Programs

▪️Reports to: Planning and Maintenance Programs Manager.

Job Summary:

Supervisor Maintenance programs oversees the Management Aircraft maintenance Program and all scheduled maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and monitors cost effective/optimized maintenance program per manufacturers Maintenance planning Data ( MPD/MRBR) with other related requirements by NCAA and implements maintenance, overhaul and inspection programs and policies for all types of aircraft, engines, and components.
  • Revise the maintenance programs regularly and timely based on latest revisions of the MPDs/MRBR, or any other source documents used for preparation of the AMP and secures NCAA approvals.
  • Ensure all scheduled maintenance requirements are reflected on ADS system and tally with the approved AMP.
  • Develop aaand Monitors APL work orders per the approval Maintenance Program with related requirements.
  • Recommend possible escalation or de-escalation of the intervals of some inspection tasks after analyzing the nature and frequency of defects reported during scheduled maintenance events over a period of time and revises the maintenance program only when the recommendations are approved by the reliability control board and NCAA.
  • Ensure all the tasks in the latest approved maintenance program and other one time maintenance/inspection tasks are entered into the maintenance IT system (ADS) with their intervals and thresholds to serve as basis for maintenance forecast.
  • Define parts and tools requirement for accomplishment of scheduled maintenance packages.
  • Perform analysis to determine the effectiveness of the maintenance program as required by Nigerian civil aviation regulations.
  • Ensure that all manuals and maintenance documents are current, properly arranged are made accessible to all users by the technical librarian.
  • Ensure all newly revised technical publications are captured and updated in all concerned departments.
  • Ensure technical librarians have subscribed to all OEM and supplementary documentation portal for periodic notification of revisions.

Requirements :

  • Eight (8) years experience and CAM area, specifically in planning and maintenance programs discipline post study Bachelor of science degree or above in mechanical, electrical electronics, electro-mechanical, aeronautical engineering or related Engineering fields.
  • Three (3) years experience as senior planning/maintenance programs engineer in planning and maintenance programs engineering areas of an airline.
