Job Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation, security, and reliability of the organisation’s IT infrastructure, creating a stable and secure environment to support the business’s effective and efficient functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and servers
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability
• Perform regular system updates and patch management
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to our systems and networks
• Manage user accounts and permissions, including creating and deleting user accounts and setting up their access levels
• Troubleshoot system failures and coordinate with vendor support teams to resolve issues
• Manage Active Directory and Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure
• Monitor network traffic and identify and mitigate security threats, including viruses and malware
• Deploy and manage virtualization technologies such as VMWare
• Manage users, computers and other organisation units on Active Directory
• Configure and manage site-to-site and remote VPN connections across the business locations
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s /HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2.2  Relevant Master’s Degree is an advantage
• 3-4 years’ experience as a System Administrator or a similar role in an organization
