Job Summary
The Area Manager, Business Growth & Channel Management will play a crucial role in driving our channel strategy in alignment with our business goals and market dynamics. This involves ensuring the effectiveness of each channel in achieving business targets such as revenue growth, sales volume, and market penetration through effective sales planning and performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
The idea candidate will be responsible for implementing the channel strategy in line with overall business goals and area market dynamics, Drive channel effectiveness to achieve sales targets and market penetration, focusing on quarterly performance metrics, Track the onboarding rate of new channels to expand market reach, Recruit, manage, and nurture relationships with channel partners to maximize coverage and sales performance, Implement strategies to measure the increase in channel coverage and the number of active channel partners in each area, etc.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following criteria;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification in Business Administration or NIM, NIMN
- A master’s degree or relevant certifications in channel management or sales would be an advantage.
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ work experience proven experience in channel management, partner network management, and sales strategy within the downstream oil and gas industry.
- 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on market analysis, profitability, and customer segmentation.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for business growth and operational efficiency.
- Business acumen and knowledge of Channel Management,
- Strategic thinking and leadership
