The Day 2 of Okerewa Onensi Carnival 2023 was an extraordinary gospel night with inspiring worships and high praises that saw various gospel artists take the stage in grand styles
The Day 2 of the program began with a speech by the paramount ruler of the community, Chief Eteeh Osaro Elechi cheering the people on why the day 2 is of high importance to every lover of God and peace in the land.
He recognized that the Day 1, the Crusade was amazing and that from the organizations on ground, he’s looking forward to a greater night of acknowledging the goodness of God as a people and assured participants of total peace and security in Okerewa.
As such, he could not hold back to eulogize the Okerewa Community Development Initiative under the leadership of Benjamin Ngokanya for bringing such memorable initiative towards enhancing peace and development of Okerewa and portraying the community in good light.
On his part, Benjamin Ngokanya, the chairman Okerewa Community Development Initiative, the man who has become the talk of the town in so much that many imagine how through his leadership prowess Okerewa has seen extraordinary turn around in all ramifications and wonders how he does it. He welcomed the guests and the crowd.
Benjamin Ngokanya boasted that Okerewa Community has only began in terms of development and will compete with any city in the country if it continues in same momentum, promising of greater days ahead with every available resources.
Okerewa Community of yesterday where Dustin bin where littered every street with bad roads and an almost looking hopeless situation, has become a tourist center to communities within the region in terms of developmental strides ranging from fixed roads, street lights, hospital, Okerewa international school, Okerewa cooperative, Okerewa farm, Okerewa security, Okerewa Carnival, to mention but few.
Day 2 of the Okerewa Onensi Carnival 2023 featured stage performance from St Paul’s Cathedral Band, G-Rhymx, Henry O with amazing stage performance.
The program had a life changing message from Rev. Bernard Oluka who guided the people with scriptural references, from his heart glorified God for his marvelous hands upon the community and poured out God’s blessings in the land of Okerewa.
The atmosphere got into an extraordinary dimension as the Masters of ceremony, Daddy Saro and Udeme Obot announced to the stage Mr Silas, Noah and Sister Edith to take the stage in turns.
What a day as the people became more eager for Day 3.
The Day 3 of the Okerewa Onensi Carnival 2023 was on the 23rd December, a Carol Night with visible difference from various Carol Night organized during Christmas seasons.
The day which had free medical outreach within the day later became a night long awaited by the people. The crowd doubled in such a manner that one may ask whether its an entire local government event or a community program.
Xpice Management Company, a company with organizational skills and professional in what they do could obviously put the even going smoothly, well managed and controlled.
Moses Bliss was live in Okerewa Community and took the center stage with ministration from the throne of heaven. Minutes by minutes it got better with Moses Bliss leading the crowd who could not sit on the well arranged seats but chose to run down almost at the stage, singing, re-echoing, worshiping, dancing, rejoicing and celebrating alongside.
The happy crowd could not let Moses Bliss stop his ministration at the allotted time frame , rather he kept ministering on and on in such manner that the atmosphere was like that of heaven on earth.
Some of the participants who spoke to True Blue Reporters revealed that they’ve so longed to meet Moses Bliss one on one, hence the joy and excitement.
“I am in love with Moses Bliss pattern of worship, his voice, the rhymes and how he presents it from his heart. Its an amazing experience to have him in Okerewa Community and the excitement is just there.” Cross section of participants.
The participants praised Benjamin Ngokanya for bringing well known and admired artists down to Okerewa Community Aleto-Eleme. While many said it’s the first of its kind in the history of the community, others admitted its a story to tell generations.
Hope Levi had extraordinary stage performance which set the stage for more and lifted expectations. Minister Gideon, Kaka Chukwu were also on stage with great performance
It was sparkling colourful with the display by Pure Brass Band all the way from Akwa Ibom state and then the exceptional voice and tunes by Minister Peter Ibalafa
The very respected Venerable Kingsley Ogbonda of the Anglican communion was live in Okerewa as he took the word of God to a divine realm with unique way of dissecting the scriptures to the understanding of the people.
The community Chief Eteeh Osaro Elechi and the Okerewa Community Development Initiative Hon. Benjamin Ngokanya could not hold back their joy and excitement seeing the outpouring joy visibly displayed by the entire community in so much that hatred, envy and envy is gone in the heart of the people
The program was also live on Facebook at True Blue Reporters, as it connected to persons abroad to participate in the joy
26th December is slated as the grand finale with very popular circular artists invited to take the center stage for the day. It’s a day the people are eager for and we’ll bring you update
The Day 4 of the Okerewa Onensi Carnival 2023 was a grand finale which saw many popular artists take the stage in different styles and performances till the next day
The crowd in the fourth day was so much that the arena could no longer contain. People from far and near trooped into Okerewa Community to see things for themselves and enjoy their lives in such a phenomenal event
The Chief Organiser and chairman Okerewa Community Development Initiative, OCDI, Benjamin Ngokanya could not hold back his joy as he expressed it in a visible manner that men and women of the community poured unending eulogies on him for taking Okerewa Community to the next level in Entertainment and developmental strides.
Benjamin expressed total satisfaction with the whole arrangement and the success of the event so far. He applauded the support he enjoys from the community, the chiefs, elders, youths, men and women. He gave all glory to God and disclosed that he’s on the right track with his vision to rewrite the story of Okerewa to positivity.
Chief Eteeh Osaro Elechi, the community ruler rejoiced at the level of joy being exhibited and seem within the people of Okerewa Community, he danced and celebrated the day unending, to the extent that he announced
“Going forward, any man outside the community who wishes to marry an Okerewa Daughter will henceforth submit his National Identity Number, NIN and BVN for prove of identity”
Chief Eteeh was excited that Okerewa Community has moved from timidity, darkness to light. He recounted how many saw him as a fool when he first threw his support to Benjamin Ngokanya and his team, but today, everyone is reaping the dividends and developmental strides with just two years. “Isn’t these amazing!” He exclaimed
He expressed total satisfaction with Benjamin Ngokanya and vowed to stand with character like him in the community anyday anytime, saying he’s a lover of wisdom, light, good things, development and growth and will never cease to identify with such
The event began with Marvelous Daddy Saro and Daddy Topsy mounting the stage as anchors throughout with DJ Dyce and DJ Adjizzy with Hypeman Raphsoj on the beat
Top artists for the night were: Duncan Mighty, African China, StereoMan Ekwe, Alvin Spiff, MC Generation, Dookie, Eflow, Jhayson, Danny Spry, Boika Million, King2s, Squizzy, Tezy Miles.
A short play also featured alongside Nitty Law, Homeboys City, Raine, Edward Patta, Fharo, Felyzo and lots more all in their performance
Food stands, drinks and other places were designed for people to chill and enjoy themselves in dimensions.
It was so much that Duncan Mighty pulled almost everything on him and threw out to his cheering fans who where obviously enjoying the day.
That the night could not end with DJ and Hypemen holding it down till dawn.
