Reaction trails the sudden withdrawal of Senator Magnus Abe, A Governorship Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State as he rejects the outcome of the party’s governorship primary.
Abe, a former ally of Chibuike Rotimi has been in disagreement over who controls the party structure in Rivers State.
Senator Abe at a media briefing at Freedom House, his campaign office in Port Harcourt, says the process that produced the delegates for the primary was not credible.
He however said that he must be on the ballot for next year’s election, but did not give details whether or not he would challenge the result in court or decamp to another political party to achieve his dream.
Meanwhile, it has been alleged that the former senator had earlier purchased an expression of interest/Nomination form from the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Rivers State to continue his Aspiration.
