Homeland Integrated Offshore Services Limited is an indigenous multidisciplinary organization offering Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation services in the oil and gas sector.
We are hiring to fill in the following position

Job Title: Controller II & III
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Guides financial decisions and protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies, controls and procedures, Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and partnering
• with external auditors. Prepares budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and recommending plans. Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Prepares and presents financial reporting by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position. Controllers on Expert Level, could be described as the subject matter expert while taking care of complex scope of financial activities and providing input and recommendations in developing departmental or project budgets and plans.

Requirements

• Effective and persuasive presentation skills. Financial and statistical analysis.
• Strong Accounting (Oil&Gas) and Analytics. Strong external relations including managing relationships with regulators. Well-developed sense of responsibility and ownership. Financial and statistical analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting Finance or related field. Minimum of 5 years experience/Strong analytics with a bias for visual analytics tools for complex data such as Advanced MS Excel, Power point. Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA or any other equivalent) is an added advantage
